Beginning Taiji Classes
Fundamentals of Taiji:Want to learn the ancient art of Taiji?Introduction to Taiji:Mondays 5:30-6:30 PM, Wednesdays 6:00-7:00 PM, Saturdays 9-10 AM is for persons who want to begin studies of Taiji form and Taiji Qigong for martial arts, health or simply personal development.This course will teach you the basics of Taiji and qigong breathing and energy movement and an introductory series of Taiji form movements to improve range of motion, flexibility and internal energy circulation.

Medical Qigong Series
Medical Qigong Mondays 10-11 AM.Each month this class will concentrate on practice of routines for maintaining health and preventing and relieving diseases.Offerings will include Qigong for reducing high blood pressure, preventing breast cancer, maintaining wellness with the change of seasons, improving Spinal flexibility, and overall wellness. The next session will start January 9, 2012. Tuition is $60.
After School Qigong for Health and Fun
Mondays 3:30-4:15 PM. This series is designed to help kids and parents with a program of healthy mind body exercise. For ages 8 and up, starting January 9. Email qielements@verizon.net for more information.
Midday Meditation
Taoist Meditation:12:15-1:00 PM Tuesdays and Thursdays.Instruction and practice of Taoist Qigong breathing, Qi circulation, and meditation techniques.Standing and sitting meditation, Taoist breathing, yongquan breathing, four gates breathing, small and grand circulation of Qi.Fees are $15 for drop-ins or $60 for a five session pass good for 90 days.
Sifu Blough receives promotion certificate from Dr. Yang at the YMAA Retreat Center in California
Sifu Blough earns promotion to full instructor rank in the YMAA Qigong program
While training at the YMAA Retreat Center in Miranda California in August, Sifu Blough received a promotion from assistant instructor to full instructor of YMAA Qigong. Sifu Blough is only the fifth person to earn full instructor ranking in YMAA Qigong. This summer Sifu attended the week-long Taiji Ball Qigong seminar in addition to another week of training in Taiji Shuai Jiao and Qin Na.

Qi Elements has a New, Permanent Home
On November 1, 2011, Qi Elements moved into our new location at 464 Herndon Parkway, Suite 215. The property is located in the Springwood Professional Center, just a short distance from our former location. From the intersection of Herndon Parkway and Spring Street, turn south on Herndon Parkway, drive past the Boeing Building (on the southwest corner of Herndon Parkway and Spring Street), and turn right into the entrance of Springwood Professional Center. Qi Elements is in the far building, center entrance, upstairs left.
