Stay bone healthy. According to a 2004 report by the US Surgeon General, many Americans over 50 are or will be at risk for weak bones unless we change our diet and lifestyle. Americans are living longer, and this means that our bones need to stay strong so we can be active and enjoy life. The Surgeon General and the National Institute for Health recommend taking classes to improve posture and increase balance, strength and flexibility--like Tai Chi or yoga.
